On November 14th, the 2025 Skill Competition on Installation and Commissioning of Electric Energy Metering Devices for Vocational College Students in the Power Industry, sponsored by the China Electric Power Education Association, guided by the National Vocational Education and Teaching Committee for Electric Power, and undertaken by Fujian Electric Power Vocational and Technical College, officially concluded. A total of 29 representative teams from 15 vocational colleges across 12 provinces participated in the competition.

Recently, the Suggestions of the Communist Party of China Central Committee on Formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development (hereinafter referred to as the “Suggestions”) was released, which made a systematic arrangement for accelerating the construction of a new energy system during the “15th Five-Year Plan” period. The “Suggestions” clearly propose to continuously increase the proportion of new energy supply, promote the safe, reliable and orderly replacement of fossil energy, focus on building a new type of power system, and build a strong energy country.
